Failures & Backups

A backup is the system telling you it has nowhere left to go. We stop the immediate mess, find the cause, and repair or replace what failed.

Why backups cannot wait?

Wastewater that cannot leave the tank comes back into the house or surfaces over the drainfield. That is a health problem, a property problem, and often a county compliance problem.

Pumping can relieve the tank. It does not fix a crushed line, a dead pump, or a leach field that has already failed.

Stop the backup. Then fix the reason it happened.

Tank Talk: News from the Field

Protect the drainfield. Pump the tank on schedule.

No. It may be a full tank, a blocked outlet, a failed pump, or a broken line. The field is the last place to blame until the tank and piping are checked.

Emergency pumping is available 24/7, subject to access and lid exposure. Call (951) 418-9775.

Relieving a backup with pumping usually does not. Repairing or replacing the tank or drainfield often does. We will say which applies after diagnosis.

Often yes at a reduced load if the rest of the system is intact. If the field has failed, pumping is only a short pause until repair or replacement.
